Real stories about dating and relationships in New York City. Truth is more interesting than fiction.

This blog is my online home. People who come by to read (and comment) are my guests. I love guests, even pop-bys. I’ve always loved playing hostess (really, I’ve always loved having people over and can actually cook). I don’t have too many rules for my IRL guests. They can smoke or put their feet up on the furniture, whatever it takes to make them comfortable. They just can’t be rude to me or anyone else. No insulting people or being nasty. No picking fights to get attention. People who do stuff like that aren’t welcome in my home. Or on my blog.

I think you get my point.

I will be enforcing a pretty strict no nastiness policy (code name = don’t feed the trolls). Unless, of course, I think your nasty comment is funny (because sometimes reading people’s seething, crazy anger is just funny). But, for the most part I’m just going to delete them.

I also have a blog policy about the men I date and what I do and don’t write about them, in case you’re interested.

Now for some business – this blog is also a business. I accept cash for advertising on this blog. I also encourage sponsorship by advertisers for my giveaways, including prizes for contests. While I may receive compensation for some of my posts or advertisements, I always give my honest opinions, findings, or experiences on those topics or products.  In other words, I don’t write lies.
