You’re Just a Fool
In honor of April Fools Day – a brief meditation on being a fool. But first, a musical interlude.
A fool in love, we’ve all been there. Well, maybe I shouldn’t make those kind of assumptions. I guess there are some people who’ve never been consumed by emotion and thus acted like a goddamn fool.
What I find most interesting about this is how utterly normal foolishness seems to us. It’s almost like it’s part of the package. With love comes a little crazy. Note: I’m fairly certain that the crazy IS OPTIONAL.
PS Yes, it’s sad/ironic that this is an old Tina Turner song from back when she was with Ike. That’s an entirely unacceptable kind of crazy. It’s an awesome song, though.
