Flashback
It’s rare, but sometimes I get a touch of writer’s block. Not true writer’s block that keeps me from writing anything. More like, I’m not feeling this blog, or this topic…
Which is where I was yesterday. I sat down last night to write posts for the week (which is what I usually do, try to write my posts for the week in advance) and NOTHING. Not a thing came out. Which really is pretty rare for me.
So today I thought it would be fun to do a little flashback. What was going on one year ago, to the day (more or less).
- I shared the story of one of my worst dates EVER
- We took a kink-factor survey
- I told the story of a pretty awesome 2nd date
- Then shared my disappointment when that 2nd date didn’t lead to a third
- And I wrote a bit about heartache

Yeah, that was fun, and thank you for sharing all those posts. The worst date ever story made me laugh…and I’m laughing again as I write this, cuz okay, damn! I honestly don’t know what I would have done with that one. Wow. And you’re right about love…can’t control it. All we can do, it seems, is surrender to it.
I’m a librarian and know of lots of great books about being single. If you ever have writer’s block again, I’d be happy to guest post a bibliography.
