Ok, I wanted to end the workweek with a fun quote/non-quote and a bit of music.
And, btw, nice load of shite. Millions of people go their whole lives without romantic love. Our current (western) concept of love is, from a broad historical perspective, rather new.
But I write about dating and relationships. I’m not supposed to think about context or broad historical perspectives. Just focus on my unsuccessful search for my one true soulmate. Gag me me with a spoon.

I got a Christmas gift of a set of lip glosses from Benefit called “All You Need is Gloss.” Every time I look at the box, I think- oh bollocks. If all I needed was lip gloss I would be a happy camper indeed.
