A New Dating Game

Sorry, I’m so over the best ofs, the reflections, the looking forward – this is just a straight forward post. Yeah, I know it’s 1/1/10 and I just don’t care.

As I hinted at yesterday, Lucky Girl and I are going to be trying something new.  As she and I use several of the same online dating sites, and are close to the same age (I’m a year older), I thought it might be fun if we played a little game.  For the month of January, I’m going to be selecting guys for her to communicate with (and hopefully meet) and she will do the same for me.

Our goal is for each of us to meet 5 guys, via this process, by the end of the month.  As each of us are rather prolific daters (when we are in full-force dating mode) neither of us thinks this will be a difficult challenge.

We’ll both be writing about the process throughout the month and I expect there will be some surprises along the way.  For starters, we do not “go for” the same types of guys.  Well, not always. Her list of non-negotiables and my list non-negotiables have some of the same things but also some stark differences.

I’m hoping we’ll be able to help each other find/see guys we might not have found on our own. Whatever happens, we’ll let you know.
