Strutting
I used to call these Shameless Self-Promotion Saturdays, but I’m tired of that name. Anyway, I just wanted to take a quick moment to give you an update on a couple of the cool things that are going on with me. First of all, I’m going to be posting (probably once a month) on Eight Million Stories. It’s a site I’ve admired for quite a while and so I’m honored to be working with them.
You might have noticed that I have a new little purple dodad on the right hand side of my page. It’s from AlphaWomen.com. Sometimes I place versions of my posts there, when I think they can stand on there own, outside the running narrative of my site. They awarded me the Best Blog of the Week in honor of my “What Are You, A Monster?” post. I guess it touched a few nerves there, too.
And now I must run to my date. I’m still not dressed and I gotta catch a train. Yes a train. He lives in Manhattan but this is one of those dates you gotta travel for. Details later today, assuming I survive it.
