Enough About Sex, Already
I think I’ve blogged more about sex in the last few days than I have in the last few months prior. I think it’s time for me to abruptly change the topic.
Here’s what the rest of my week looks like:
I have my second date tonight with The GrownUp. We’re meeting for drinks at 6 and then seeing a play at 7. Great venue for the drinks and a good choice of play on his part. The guy’s got good taste. I don’t think we’re grabbing dinner after the play, but I guess if things go really well then that might happen, too.
Then tomorrow night there’s Twestival. At first I wasn’t really planning on telling everyone I was going to be there, just a few select people (I am supposed to be ANONYMOUS). But the more I thought about it the more I realized that I’d like it if I met the 2 or 3 people who read my blog who are in attendance. If you are going to be there, please DM me on Twitter so that we can meet up.
Speaking of Twestival, one of the reasons I decided to go is that it really is a fundraiser at heart. And more importantly, it’s a fundraiser for a very worthy cause. It’d be great if a few of you who couldn’t make it were interested in donating. Here’s the link. I tried to put a little widget up, but have been running into all kinds of problems with it so I just gave up. The link is less attractive, but it’ll do. If you have $5 that you can spare, this is a great way to spend it.
Oh, I never told you all about the other date I had planned for Sunday afternoon. The first date I was supposed to have earlier in the day, before the disaster with The Musician. I got a very nice email from him saying that he’d met someone and was taking himself off the market (and yeah, his online profile is down). It was really very sweet and complimentary and he wished me luck. I’ve sent similar emails myself (I remember sending a few when things heated up with Mr. Potential). I replied back with a heartfelt good luck. I hope his relationship works out. It was just so nice to see a guy diving into a relationship, wholeheartedly. With anyone (even if it wasn’t me). It gave me hope.

Alas I will not be going to the Twestival (me living in the UK and all). I’d have hoped that my constant stream of annoying yet positive comments on here would have prevented you from losing hope but I’m glad that even if they’ve not, something has given you hope
Sounds like a good rest of the week! Have fun!
Enjoy!
I will be going to Twestival tomorrow but in Boston. Hope you have a good time!
I’m going to have my own private twestival with blackjack…and hookers! In fact, forget the twestival and the blackjack.
I wish I had know a tad earlier as I could have gone. I love the idea
Hopefully next time!
