The Best Coffee in NYC

No, I don’t claim to know where to find the best cup of coffee in the city. There are a bunch of places that I think are pretty awesome. Sadly, some of the ones with the best coffee aren’t great places to hang out in, but that isn’t really the point.

I’ve had a handful of afternoon dates premised on a guy sharing with me his favorite coffee spot. Each of these being the “best coffee in the city”. I like these types of dates. They tend to be fun and low-key and the coffee is always good.

Just, please, if you’re going to do a coffee date, don’t suggest Starbucks. This is New York. You can do so much better.
